I have given the hassle over photo ID requirements a great deal of thought lately and for the life of me I can see only one reason for this virulent objection from the left. They want to cheat. What in the world is wrong with requiring voters to validate the only requirement for them to cast a ballot – that they are indeed the person listed on the election rolls. Voting is a privilege not a right. Our Constitution gave the right to all “qualified” citizens to vote. It is a special privilege we have and should be regarded as such. In today’s world every person can procure an ID at no expense for either a card or the cost of transportation to attain one. There’s only one reason for such loud protests.
